Field Technician

FilterPro USA is looking for industry leaders and top performers to represent our company and service our ever expanding customer base. The Field Technician position requires a self-motivated, quality technician who can work independently or in teams changing HVAC air filters. This job requires physical activity and a current state issued drivers license with a clean driving record. Drug testing and background check required.Technician coordinates with dispatch and management team to ensure work orders are accurately received and attended to in a timely manner based upon established goals and service standards. Also responsible for diagnosing malfunctions of heating/air conditioning systems and/or components in HVAC units for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems. No experience necessary as we will train the right person. Moderate travel with overnight stay may be required with per diems. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours including some weekends if needed. All Tech’s will receive the following: annual tool allowance, weekly pay, direct deposit, paid holidays, paid vacations & company issued tools, uniforms, iPhone, iPad and a service vehicle.

FilterPro manufactures the majority of its product offerings in its Florence, AL manufacturing plant which allows us to take better control of our own supply chain. We are currently looking to expand our sales team seeking energetic & self-motivated individuals who are willing to learn, make money, and grow with us long term

Position Summary:

This is a new business development positions responsible for promoting the company’s products and services & acquiring new customers. The focus is to help our customers be successful in accomplishing their indoor air quality goals while achieving pre-established individual sales and profit goals. This position will be remote but the individual must reside within the specified region & be willing to travel at least 50% of the time as needed. A valid state issued driver’s license is required in addition to a drug test & background check. An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving annual sales goals in the assigned region
  • Develop new business to achieve profitable sales growth and increase top line revenue within assigned territory
  • Answer customer’s questions about products, prices, availability, & product uses in a timely manner
  • Able to identify customer needs, propose effective solutions and close deals
  • Manage all sales activities within our CRM including leads, opportunities, value-added services & cost savings, etc.
  • Prepare detailed customer quotes & proposals in accordance with company policies
  • Meet with customers on site as needed to help determine proper air filtration needs
  • Gather all necessary customer information to be input into our ERP system
  • Work closely with internal operations team ensuring the customer’s service is executed successfully
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as sales/gross profit margin data, etc.
  • Responsible for successfully meeting all pre-established sales goals
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and sales meetings to grow sales, generate leads & identify new opportunities to pursue, as requested
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience to promote repeat business

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of previous outside sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must pass the NAFA CAFS (Certified Air Filter Specialist) certification or FilterPro USA equivalent within 6 months
